Magnetic Products Catalogs

Master Magnetics, Inc. - Castle Rock, Colorado

Just two of the many catalogs I designed during 18 years of employment with the company. AOM is a subsidiary of Master Magnetics, Inc. and prints customers' logos and information on colorful and unique magnetic products. This was one of my favorite projects. Each year the company mailed these items to about 1,500 customers and vendors. The postcard is glossy cardstock, and the calendar is printed directly to flexible magnetic sheeting.

BookCrafters is a business that assists authors in self publishing. The owners were fellow members of the Parker Artists Guild and asked me to design over a dozen book covers for their clients.

Highway Sign Logo

New Mexico Scenic Byways Project - Santa Fe, New Mexico

The state's highway department was looking for a logo to promote their Scenic Byways. They conducted a logo design contest, in which I entered this design. It was chosen from about 20 entries, and has been used for printed promotions and road signs. The signs have appeared along roadways all over New Mexico since Summer 2000. The sign in the photo is located on Hwy. 337, about 40 miles southeast of Albuquerque.

Route 66 Magazine - Port Richey, Florida

The publishers relied on me to create nearly all of their quarterly magazine covers for over a decade. Many of their sponsors did not have the resources to design their own ads, so I created those as well. Unfortunately, the senior publisher passed away in 2021 and magazine production ended.

New Mexico Route 66 Association

The New Mexico Route 66 Association gave me the opportunity to create, design and edit this publication. It started out as a 4-page black and white newsletter. When I relinquished my duties to another designer nine years later, it had expanded to a 32-page glossy magazine in full color.
