San Felipe de Neri, Old Town Albuquerque
2005, acrylics & sand, 24" x 48" - a gift to a longtime friend and his family. San Felipe de Neri parish was founded in 1706 as San Francisco Xavier de Albuquerque. The church was forced by a flood to relocate from Romero Street to the north end of Albuquerque’s Old Town Plaza, where it was rebuilt in 1793 and given its present name.
